I know I haven't been posting all that much lately, but I think it's time I officially called it quits. For now, at least. To anyone still paying attention to this account, I offer my sincere thanks. I will be finishing up a request or two that I owe people, but that's going to be about it.

Thaaaanks deviantART. Because I wasn't disappointed QUITE often enough with alert messages that were just "notifications" *cough*advertisement*cough* for your merchandise. This is really a step up. Pretty soon I won't have to ever assume that I'm being notified about something I actually care about! Great work, dA team.

Sewing stuff

1 min read
So i am working on some sewing projects and whatnot. I'm finally making something that is not a plushy, but rather an article of clothing. Should I post pictures here when it's done? Does that sort of thing belong on deviantART? Do you care?

So i really, really wanted to care about Pokemon X/Y but I just really didn't that much. Then they released images of a new, mystery typed Eeveelution. Still didn't care. Then I found out it was named Ninfia.

Holy.

Crap.

I has a theory.

Nymphe is greek for "bride" or "young woman" or something like that. It's covered in bows. The game titles are themed on gender (sex chromosomes).

I am predicting that it will be a gendered pair of new eeveelutions. The girl will be Nympheon and the boy will be I have no clue (maybe Ephebeon-"ephebe" is the ancient greek word for a young male). The female is covered in pink with blue highlights, the male will probably be the opposite.

I'm gonna be so excited if I'm right. I figured it out on my own and very few other people seem to have proposed this theory (which is odd because it seems so obviously over-feminized), and nobody else seems to have yet connected it to the X/Y theme or the greek names.
